Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Accountant role at Margesh Parikh Professional Corporation. As a Senior Accountant, your day-to-day tasks will include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, managing month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting with tax planning and compliance. This is a hybrid role, with the main office located in Brampton, ON, and the flexibility to work from home on certain days.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
Ability to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy
Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax planning and compliance
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPA designation or working towards CPA designation
Experience in the accounting industry is a plus
